PRF Gas Solutions and the Brazilian company GNLink, a natural gas distributor owned by the Lorinvest Group, have signed a technological cooperation and business development agreement in Brazil for the implementation of Green Hydrogen (H2V) production units with a capacity of up to 5 MW.
Following the development of the Green Hydrogen market in Europe, the companies will explore the same niche of opportunities in Brazil, aiming for an energy transition with carbon reduction through H2V applications for natural gas pipeline injection, vehicle refuelling (Fuel Cell), and industrial processes in various industries.
During the signing ceremony, which took place in Portugal, CEO of PRF, Paulo Ferreira, Director of Business Development at PRF, Moisés Ferreira, Director General of Energy at GNLink, Celso Silva, and CEO of GNLink, Marcelo Rodrigues, were present.
For Paulo Ferreira and Moisés Ferreira, this technological cooperation and business development agreement between GNLink and their company in Brazil is extremely significant and represents a strategic opportunity to expand PRF Gas Solutions’ business and actively contribute to the country’s energy transition. «This partnership will strengthen PRF Gas Solutions’ position as a leading company in the supply of Green Hydrogen technologies and solutions while driving growth and diversification in the energy sector of the country.»
For Celso Silva and Marcelo Rodrigues, executives at GNLink, this agreement represents portfolio complementation and the company’s strategy to contribute to the energy transition in Brazil. «We will prioritize the development of regulations and the implementation of customized projects according to our customers’ needs in the short term,» they emphasized.
